この時期ならでは＆今回を逃すと、見れるのは一年後･･･と言うわけで、「行かなきゃいけないでしょ」って事で、急遽行ってきました。
In this weekend, I went to dive at the river in Yamaguchi pref. Main purpose is to see spawning of Red-spotted masu salmon. Now is close to the end of season. And if I miss it, I need to wait one year. Thus, there was no reason for me not to go there.
何とか綺麗な色になった雄＆雌を観察する事ができたのですが、心残りだったのが顎のしゃくれた雄の写真が撮れなかったことですね^^ 流れも強く、本気でアプローチする事もできませんでした。。まぁ、、この辺は来年への課題でしょうか？
And I saw mature female of the salmon! However, I could not take the photo of male with a turned‐up chin.. Due to the strong current, I even could not approach the male under the water.
...This may be a subject for next year.
こちらは、、サツキマスの雌。

Aged Red-spotted masu trout.
ハレーションが酷い写真ですが、、婚姻色を出したアマゴ(たぶん。サツキじゃないはず)の雄。写真を撮った場所の上流に砂防ダムがあるのですが、増水していたせいか、大量の砂が舞ってました (^^; しかも流れがキツイ･･･今回の川は非常に体力がいりました(笑)
Due to the strong halation, quality is not good. But below seems to be mature male of Red-spotted masu trout with mating color. The place I took this photo has barrier to control soil erosion in the upper area. And the rise of a river flew out enormous volume of the sand to down stream with strong current. Actually it exhausted me entirely.
打って変わって、、こちらはオオサンショウウオ。幼体は過去に見たことがあるものの、、成体は初！貫禄がありますね～
Japanese Giant Salamander. This was my first time to see adult!! It looked dignified very much.
そして、、アカザ。この川にもいるんですね～
Then Liobagrus reini.
最後は立派なギギ。こんな場所にもいてるとは思いませんでした！ 写真に撮るのは初めてだったので、結構テンションが上がりました♪
Forktail bullhead. I hardly imagine this fish inhabit in the higher part of the river. Also this was my first time to take photo of this fish and I was very excited!
とまぁ、そんな感じで今回の週末淡水＠山口も充実してました♪
So I really enjoyed watching freshwater fish and animals in Yamaguchi!!

防砂ダムのアマゴやっつけているじゃないですか（驚）あの急流かつ砂の中で・・・すごいです。
来月のゴギ予定が合えば、是非参加したいです！！企画楽しみにしています。

ReplyDeleteアマゴ、、、偶然なんですよ f(^^ ファインダーを見ずにハウジングを近づけてシャッターを切っただけなので。。ただ、、長時間ハウジングをアマゴに近づけると、砂の舞う量が増えるような気がしたので、シャッターを一枚切るたびにハウジングを水から上げてました。
ゴギ、是非行きたいですよね！
